FOUNDER

Justin Tagg is a multi-disciplinary storyteller based in the UK. His most recent short film, Mouse-X, was described as 'AN INSTANT HIT' by Short of the Week & 'ONE OF THE BEST SHORT FILMS I'VE EVER SEEN' by Matt Glasby, film critic at Total Film, Little White Lies and GQ - whilst his first feature as producer, LAPWING, through his company, HYPERREAL, was released internationally in 2022 and described as 'STARK, OPPRESSIVE, MENACING. A HISTORICAL DRAMA WITH A SLICE OF HORROR' by Peter Bradshaw of The Guardian, and 'A WORK OF DECISIVELY PROVOKING MENACE' by Emily Maskell of We Love Cinema.

As an artist, Justin works under the pseudonym, DEVOID, and was selected as one of the most exciting abstract artists in Web3 by renowned painter, Jack Kaido. DEVOIDS work sits in the collections of some of the most influential curators in the Web3 space, including Tom Sachs and GMoney. DEVOID will be a speaker at NFT London in 2022.

Justin is the founder of HYPERREAL and HYPERREAL PRESS, which releases the quarterly microfiction journal, THE DARK PASSENGER NEVER ANSWERED. He is currently producing his second feature and finishing up his first novel, PERIVALE. He continues to produce artwork as 'DEVOID' and is launching the first Web3 literary press in autumn 2022 with his project 'Poetry Cards' - a unique publishing experiment that distributes a poetry anthology as digital trading cards that can be 'played' or 'read' as a single narrative.

Justin also runs two imprints of HYPERREAL - HIGH CONCEPT, an ambitious story agency with its first feature film projects in development and RACONTEUR, a brand storytelling agency working alongside startups to tell a more compelling story about who they are, what they do and what they stand for.
