A METAFICTION COMIC STRIP

Hey - this project’s a secret. How the hell did you find it?

No problem - since you’re here… My 32 Bit Life is a narrative experiment, a 32-bit comic strip telling a story that starts as seemingly innocuous 32-Bit pieces of still life pixel art, but quickly shift into a genre-bending work of metafiction.

The best part? I don’t know *precisely* where it’s going either. That’s part of the fun. A journey’s end shouldn’t be defined by the place it starts.

With that in mind, this could be a disaster. It might not play out as I’m intending. But, equally, it could go somewhere neither of us saw coming…

Each piece is available on Hicetnunc.com - an NFT platform run on the Tezos currency, making it an especially eco-friendly platform for a long-running experiment like this. Each piece will be in an edition of 10. I’ll keep 1, but 9 are available at only 1 Tez each.

At the end of the project, I’ll be putting together a huge artwork, featuring every piece from the story which will be sold through the HYPERREAL PRESS OpenSea account.

But for now, simply enjoy the mundanity of My 32 Bit Life - before everything goes to hell…

p.s. this secret project was launched on 10th April 2021 and, at that point, was only discoverable through an Easter Egg hidden below the bottom of the website footer. The question is… what date was it first found? First to the ‘egg’ will receive a copy of the final poster, once the story is completed. This will be a limited edition NFT and you’ll have one reserved, just for you, including a special inscription, indicating that you were ‘first to the egg’.
